What is Factory Green?

Factory Green, a purveyor of original eco-friendly apparel, accessories and apartment wares, prides itself on offering its culturally sophisticated, self-expressive and environmentally conscious customers the best in green alternatives.

Are FG products truly going to make an environmental difference?

Yes! Every little bit counts. For example, check out how much better our organic cotton t-shirts are for the environment compared to a typical cotton shirt HERE. (Not to mention that our shirts are so much softer than regular cotton!) Of course we are not going to stop global warming entirely, but through purchases at FactoryGreen.com you can dramatically decrease your impact on the environment. If you want to mention your eco-superiority over others at parties, that's okay too.

Where did this idea come from?

The idea for Factory Green came from Daniel and Jack's shared experiences in Europe, specifically our time abroad in the UK. Also, James Bond is from the UK. James Bond is a badass. Ergo, Factory Green is badass.

Jack Short and Daniel Lyons.

You have "Inc." after your name. Are you evil?

We're certainly not a big evil corporation. Our lawyers advised us to submit the corporate filings after we met with them in a dimly lit, smoke-filled boardroom while drinking single-malt whisky. This allows for better, more important sounding titles for the people who work here.

Is my credit card safe?

Absolutely. All transactions are processed through PayPal with their state-of-the-art encryption system. Even Vladimir Putin and his cronies couldn't hack your credit card. None of your card details will ever be stored on FactoryGreen.com.

Are your shirts soft?

The organic cotton shirts are the softest t-shirts and hoodies that we have ever felt. Honestly. Our shirts will make your favorite college tees and hoodies feel like sandpaper.

How do your shirts fit?

If Heidi Klum put on one of our shirts, it would look so good that it would violate the physical laws of nature and the universe would implode. We guarantee that our shirts and hoodies are going to fit great.
The men's shirts are perfectly structured, athletically cut, and made of the softest cotton in the history of the world.
Women's shirts are meticulously tailored to give a fitted appearance and are also made from the world's softest cotton.

Who designed your apparel?

Most likely, it was one of our uber-talented graphic designers that concocted the idea at one of our many "beer meetings." If you buy their shirt, they get more of said beer.

What if I want to return something?

If for some reason you decide that you hate the earth, you can return your items for an exchange or refund. Please send your tales of shopping woe HERE, and we'll take care of it immediately.

How much is shipping?

It depends on how much you order. You can view USPS's extortionist shipping prices HERE.

When will my items get to my house/apartment/dorm/parent's basement?

Very soon. We ship most of our items in one business day or less, so you'll get it fast. If you live in a dorm, beware, because your mail attendant may steal your package, and we can't really blame them. If you live in your parent's basement, you should probably be looking for work rather than waiting for packages.

Who do you ship with?

We currently ship most of our items via US Mail, with a few things sent out by UPS.

Do you ship Internationally?

Yes we do! Factory Green is a global online company that is happy to ship outside of America-land. You can select your country during checkout, and the appropriate international rates will apply. Canada even gets a discount, partially in hopes that the gorgeous Air Canada flight attendant on the Toronto to Kansas City flight will be impressed.

Is your packaging eco-friendly?

Most of our packaging is made from 90% recycled paper fiber with at least 50% post consumer content. Even our tissue paper and invoice slips are made from recycled paper, so it's green all the way around. The box filler newspapers are recovered from our campus newspaper program that would have otherwise been destined for the landfill. All of our packaging materials, including box fillers and tissue papers, are 100% recyclable.
